MARC Import incorrectly detecting no ISBN and no other data

I am trying to import 2 records as a test batch and they keep detecting as no ISBNs and when I select the Show Books button there is no data at all, and if I do choose to import them they end up attached to the black hole because there is no data.

Books in file 2
Books without ISBNs 2
Books with bad data 2
(e.g. no title) or parsing errors

The two records have 10 digit ISBNs in the 020$a field and 245 title information, compiled as .mrc files from MarcEdit. MarcEdits MARC validator says there is nothing wrong with the records.
