Sorry to ask a question which must have been asked and answered many times before, but where do I put the edition statement in my record for a book?
For example, "The Australian concise Oxford dictionary" / edited by J. M. Hughes, P. A. Michell and W. S. Ramson, ISBN 0195534425. In the British Library catalogue record for this book there is an edition field containing the words "2nd ed". But, when I import this record in LibraryThing, that field and its content has disappeared. Why is that?

Librarything doesn't have an editions layer. So your Australian Concise Oxford Dictionary will probably lump together with all the others.
Some people put the edition information in the title, some put it as a tag, some put it in the publication field.
