Ability to Print Individual Labels/Records

I have an idea for a feature for your consideration.

I have enjoyed two apps: LibraryThing for my books and CellarTracker for my wine. They are both great apps. Both have the ability to export so they can be printed on labels. The CellarTracker app, however, has the ability to print individual items directly from the website to a Dymo printer. It is super easy to print labels for individual wines when I enter them into my catalog. It sure would be wonderful to be able to do the same with my new books.

If this is of interest, I’ve attached a link to CellarTracker’s information on labels.

You ought to be able to copy from LT and paste into your printer app without LT developing something specific to your printer.

What labels do you want to print for your books?

To pull the data faster I suggest exporting a copy of the information of your data. Library Thing offers a variety of options under More>> Import/Export.

I am unfamiliar with your printer and program set up, but if I were doing something I would export in Excel (or other spreadsheet program) and delete the unneeded columns, format your data and datasheet to match your label and print the labels. (Side note label companies offer lots of dimensions, colors, an sheets of label paper now that can be ordered online.)
