Swedish and Finnish library sources

Hello.

I´m a new user and I´m having some issues importing books. I have a csv file which I´m trying to import. LT identifies the isbn numbers and so far all is good. But when trying to retrieve the info from LIBRIS (swedish national library catalogue) and Helmet (Finnish national library catalogue) nothing is found and all 1000+ entries ends up as "failed" in the import que. No book imported. Something wrong with the connection to the sources?

Best regards Andreas

>1 drlskbibliotek: An example or two of an isbn-number, that isn't found would be useful.

I just tried two of those ISBNs in Overcat, and they both had results (from Libris), so running your import through with Overcat as your source will probably reduce your list of failures.

It doesn't solve the fact that these sources need to be fixed if possible, but it helps you right now.

Note: Overcat is an LT list of successful searches from library sources, so it's a good place to start.

Sources change their details now and again, so keeping them all up to date takes a fair amount of effort. This probably just needs someone figuring out the new details, and now that it is reported, it can be quickly fixed. Sometimes sources decide not to remain open, and then they are no longer useable. (The Overcat records remain.) Currently British Library is not fully functional after a major hacking event last year.

Just tried searching for 9129560039 in Libris in Add books and that worked fine, so it looks like CSV-import is broken, but the sources are fine - based on a sample of 1 :-)

Yeah. Did the same. The strange thing is ttht it identifies the ISBN Numbers but fails to import the info. Tried the xls file also, same result. So must be something with sources.

>1 drlskbibliotek: Noting here: looking at your latest import from this morning, all but 8 of your records (which were synced) are showing me a status of "not found" from the data sources you selected (LIBRIS, Helmet, and Gothenburg Public Library). For us to dig into.

Thanks! It would be very much needed for swedish and Finnish users. Seem to be a problem with all Swedish sources., and maybe Finnish too (helmet)

Thanks for looking into it.
