Finding out that you are gay when you are already 26 can be tough, especially when you are engaged to get married and the suddenly existing object of your affection turns out to be a bunny slipper wearing son of a mobster who might be a drug dealer or maybe a murderer. All at once the life of Austin Glass shatters into little pieces. He was getting used to deal with his problems with his dad but now not doing what his father wants has huge implications. While his career as a police agent appears to go down the drain, he tries to find out who is a killer, who is doing drugs and how he can embrace a homosexual lifestyle that actually works.
This book is very funny to read although sometimes less would have been more because the moral and emotional dilemmas of the main characters are only skin-deep unfortunately. Less shallow and less witty would have been great.… (mehr)
