Jack Wendall not only has Down’s Syndrome, but he’s also a recently turned vampire. After getting bit by a rabid vampire one night, he becomes one. Now, all he wants to be is an accepted member of the Vampire community. Unfortunately, the human vampires have ordered that all mentally handicapped vampires be put to death. Now on the run from the vampire law-keepers, he garners the support of the Vampire President, Lilith. Just one problem, Lilith is also Damien’s wife, the chief of the law-keepers. Stuck between two powerful vampires, will Jack survive? Will he ever be accepted for who he is?

The plot is fast-paced, well developed and engaging. The characters are complex and intriguing. The action sequences are detailed and drew the reader into the story. Readers who don't mind some adult content and ike action, adventure, innovative vampire stories will enjoy reading this story.… (mehr)
