Full Life Bible Commentary to the New Testament von French L. Arrington

Excellent balanced and orthodox commentary from the Pentecostal perspective by various respected Pentecostal scholars, for example, French Arrington and Roger Stronstad (to name only two), both whom are editors. It includes an abundance of separate articles discussing various topics more in-depth, for example, the 144,00 Jews, Enthronement of God and His Messiah, the Slain Lamb, Was Jesus Accursed?, the Working of Miracles, etc. Did a quick count and it includes close about 250 special articles, maps, charts, and pictures. After each commentary on each of the NT books is a thorough Bibliographic list of scholarly works for further study.

This is a great resource for layman that should be read along with the Full Life Study Bible (see my review), now titled the Life in the Spirit… (mehr)

Full Life Bible Commentary to the New Testament von French L. Arrington

This is a great reference. I really got a lot of use out the commentary on Mark by Hoggatt. The Arminian butchering of Ephesians 1 by Adams and Stamps made me nautious. But overall, it is a good technical commentary and shows that Pentecostals scholars are world class.
