It is a jem among books. I found it at a used bookstore for $1. I took it home and was surprised by the wealth of content and knowledge it contained for it's small size.

This book is written along the same lines as some of the newer knitting books which give the knitter a general pattern template, with a stitch dictionary giving the knitting the opportunity to design their own garment.

Some of the stitches in the stitch dictionary are stitches I have never seen before, and would be considered "fresh" in today's knitting circles.

Templates included would be sweaters, stoles, handbags, tablecloths, and more.
