Great concept and great execution, overall. Some choices surprised me, though, namely the exclusion of blackberries from the black page (and the purple page) and the use of a green-topped pepper on the yellow page instead of the typical solid yellow pepper you find at most grocery stores.

The book names each of the primary and secondary colors and shows pictures of foods which are those colors. Especially impressive are the white and black foods. Some of the foods are uncommon, and all are labeled in small print for the adult to read.

Great concept book that makes you hungry.
