Kurzbiographie
According to his biographer Kathrine Sorley Walker: From a small specialist bookshop in London's Charing Cross Road, Cyril W. Beaumont established an international reputation as a pioneer dance historian, writer and publisher. His career stretched from 1910, when as a 19-year-old he opened his bookshop, to his death in 1976.

Rezensionen

A valuable record by a man who saw the Diaghilev Ballet performances in London & set out to record the dances & the performance of the dancers, including Nijinsky. Unfortunately, the style is rather wordy & overblown, which makes it somewhat heavy going. Found this in the stacks of the local public library, so not unobtainable.
