3.5/3.75 stars. This was a hard one for me to rate. The world and most of the story was great but the writing was lacking. It was a telling instead of showing style of writing (which I don't care for) and it was rushed in a lot of places. A lot of huge emotional things got seemingly shrugged off a lot. But at the same time I stayed up last night (it was a weekend night) to finish reading it. And I will continue with the series.

For those that don't care for spice/smut there is a fair amount of that here. That doesn't bother me and I tend to like those types of books, but in this book a lot of it didn't feel like it flowed well and was put in to have sex scenes.… (mehr)
