Rezensionen

An uneven scholarly anthology on the construction of masculinity in the modern Western world. Articles range from utter crap from Eve Kosofsky Sedgwick to a really interesting article by Leo Bersani. Since post-modernism generally makes my crap-meter run high, I would say there is a lot more useless nonsense in this anthology than actual helpful articles.

As multicultural families I don't think you can ever spend too much time reading this type of book. I don't know that I would recommend buying it - but do check it out of the library.… (mehr)
