Ennesima variazione su Solaris, però ben fatta e con tante belle tavole favorite dal motore a curvatura.

Like so many people, my first encounter with The Witcher franchise was through the Netflix TV show, which I loved. When my friend mentioned having this omnibus, I wanted to borrow it immediately, as I wasn't sure yet if I wanted to get into the novels (so many books!), and this seemed like a good middle ground.
I enjoyed this so much. It was great to read them during the readathon where I could just sit down and inhale the entire thing all at once, because that is exactly what I did. There are definitely some differences in the two adaptations (graphic novel vs. TV), but I liked getting to spend more time in this world with its dry humor, and the Witcher just trying to get along in a world with so many turned monstrous by their trauma and need for revenge.
I may get sucked into these novels someday.… (mehr)

This book series does not disappoint, its content is always topnotch
Last story was the weakest, imo. Fox Children was excellent.
