My Last Door von Wendy Bishop
One of the best books of contemporary American poetry I've read in years--a rich collection.
Although the book will be 20 years old soon, it's still extremely useful for teachers of creative writing.
This is a superb resource for anyone who teaches creative writing and for anyone starting graduate school in an MFA program.
A really solid revision text . . . I rec'd this as a free examination copy at the office, and I kept it as part of my permanent writing reference library.
