Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben.I suspect that if a person wasn't already familiar with The Three Musketeers by Alexadre Dumas, this book would be somewhat confusing, or at least less meaningful. As a children's book, it is entertaining, but I doubt that children of the age for which this book is intended have actually already read The Three Musketeers.

I thought it was a good introduction to the characters from Three Musketeers classic. My kids are getting close to being able to read chapter books and this is definitely going to be one that I will strongly encourage them to read.

The previous reviewer who questioned why they were speaking English in France- they weren't. To the boys (and we English readers), it seems they are speaking English, but to everyone else they are speaking French.
