I have bought too many of these yearly writer's market books always with the intention of getting the novel, short stories, whatever, this year.
There are always some helpful articles in addition to the basic how-to stuff (and of course the different market contacts is invaluable) but, beyond my own procrastination issues, I think the best route to go is to find this at your local library rather than spending your money every year (just a little promotion for my profession here.) Now you can subscribe to Writer's Market online services as well, which provides very current information if you want to go that route...… (mehr)
