I could mostly empathize where Dominique was coming from, the pain she felt having lost her job, her home and her relationship. There were parts that left me misty eyed. I learned to love eating out on own even more now. It made me feel that no matter what craziness or setbacks you face, things will be ok and that things do get better.

This is an informational book on air, how it works and what it does to help the planet. This book is helpful for kids because they can learn and know how air effects different things.

This book is full of beautiful colored photos of the world. It teaches children about the air and how it is necessary for all life. It talks about air getting dirty which then causes the world to become sick. It also touches on how to help keep the air clean such as walking places, turning off lights, using wind powered energy. It is a subtle message but it is clear and is a nice way to present it without hitting anyone over the head with it. The back of the book has other information for adults, not geared to children. I only wish the book talked a little more about the issues at the back during the main part of the book such as Green House Effect.

I would recommend this book to be in primary classrooms and school libraries.

I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book is pretty good. It is beautifully illustrated with digital photography. The photos are bright and fun and really add to the story. This story is really important because it teaches children the importance of air and keeping it clean. It talks about what causes pollution and gives solutions and ideas at the end of the book on ways to help reduce our carbon footprint. This would be good for younger children to help fuel discussion in the classroom.
