I really liked this one. I'm still laughing - the way it's written is too funny. No, it's more than that. The whole idea of a cat shifter, a duck shifter and a human trying to create a working relationship is hilarious. Just like the recipe for the drink "duck fart" sounds too weird to be true, these three beings seem to be too different to fit. And yet, when Keith (the human), Bailey (the cat shifter) and Drake (the duck shifter) started interacting, I could see how things might work. It takes them a little longer to figure it all out...

Bailey is super cute. A bit clueless, trying to come out from his family’s thumb, the cat shifter made me smile with how ‘unspoiled’ and harmless he was. He tries so hard to leave the ‘old Bailey’ behind, but it seems as if he has to fight for every inch of the way. Of course, once the other two get their hands on him that quickly changes, but his natural innocence still shines through.

Drake is one aggressive mallard. The duck shifter doesn’t take crap from anyone, but once he dares to open up he turns out to be a really nice guy. Not that his defensiveness doesn’t still raise its head occasionally, but, on the whole, his character becomes a lot more settled once he figures out that his two mates only want the best for him. Not something he is used to, but he takes to it… like a duck to water (so to speak).

Keith has no idea what he’s getting himself in to with these two shifters. He is immediately attracted to Bailey (only seeing the ‘cute kitty’) and even Drake holds a certain attraction for him. In a way, Keith ends up being the one who holds the three-way relationship together, and is more than compensated for his efforts by two very loving men – once they get themselves sorted out.

If you want a good laugh, some really funny scenes and situations, and are not opposed to some very hot three-way sex between horny male shifters, you will probably like this book. It is even better than the original edition – and that says a lot!
