Adorable. And of course the 'twist' ending was telegraphed from the very beginning. Not sure who the intended audience is - the main character is a kid, and it's easy enough for kids to read, and clean - but it just vibes being a light read for adults. The kid's voice is a bit impplausible, too. But I really did like it and would unhesitatingly recommend it to those who are already considering it. And I will check to see if the author wrote anything else.
