Nashville Library 976.854 B96w; A rather disjointed history - appears to be various essays compiled into a book. Needed a bit more editing! Notable: Harbor Island was Fort Hill in the Civil War, Wilson County was the staging area for light tanks (Patton) and paratroopers (Normandy) near the end of WWII, Lebanon is the financial and growth center of Wilson County (selected as county seat in 1802), the Cedars of Lebanon have been part of the county history and have left factories as cedar planks, cedar chests, and pencils (the state park was a WPA project in the 1930s)… (mehr)
