I'm sorry, but Mariah was irking me in the beginning. She came off too pushy and crass though it worked in Lauren's favor to realize how harsh and constraining her upbringing was. It even led to first love. But the ending was sad just so y'know with those this was a very special episode vibes.

Finally, a book that addresses the most pressing question about 20th century male artists: hot or not? Each page starts with an example of the artist's work (redrawn by Campbell), followed by a portrait of the artist with a simple assessment of HOT or NOT, with a bit of commentary to back it up. And it's hilarious. My copy also has scratch-off underwear on the cover models. Definitely unique; definitely worth a read.

This book is stupid. Stupidly stupid. And I think the author may be proud of that fact? Like it's supposed to be humorous?

Not funny. Not good. Not for me.
