I enjoy every thing about this series except the very annoying girl friend named ann rea. Her name is always lower case so your eyes slide right over it. Both of her names are always used, so you don't know if rea is really a last name or a middle name. So she is sort of a cher with two names and she is not even a celebrity.

She has been with Kennedy for a while now and though she loves him very much, and she admits that he is the best thing that ever happened to her she constantly whines that it is not enough. Well she is too much and she ruins the story.… (mehr)

Pretty good police novel--enjoyed Starrett's relationships around the community and romances, too. Might even read the next one. A little too obvious, a little too easy, but still.
