This was an easy and quick read. A low-stakes spicy romance was perfect for the holidays. The story felt rushed at moments, there was a lot of jumping from one action to another. I would have preferred more descriptions, more insight into the inner and outer worlds of the characters. The world building could also use some working on. The dangerous situations resolved almost too easily so they did not feel too believable.

All in all I enjoyed the book and the characters. I also enjoyed the beautiful moths on the pages. Easy spicy romances are sometimes just what I need!

I got this as an early release win and I thought last night I would give it a peek to see what it's about. The next thing I knew it was 3 am and I was mostly through it. While it makes today not fun (sick kids), it's all I can think about. The writing is great and the story is enough to keep me turning pages.

What would you do if someone told you that they are a vampire and that you are their mate? Emily is a normal young woman trying her best but that all changes when she meets Sebastian. There is something about him that she is drawn to as she can’t seem to get him off her mind. Sebastian knows that he is playing with fire but he has to get Emily to see how good they are together. But can he tell her the truth without her running?
Emily knows that she wants to be with him but she won’t allow him to change her into a vampire as she won’t leave her mom behind. So Sebastian has no choice but to lie to the council about their relationship. Where will this leave them now?
A great love story of two lovers that need to make some hard choices. Emily is so sweet young woman that needs to make choices that most would never have to make. Sebastian knows that he only wants his mate and that he will do whatever he has to keep her safe even if that means walking away

So good! I read this book in one day. Just scarfed the whole thing up. Full review to come; but I will say, if you love vampire romances you need to read this one!

Bond Bitten was a good quick read but I kept thinking I was missing some of the story. I would have liked to have more of a backstory, some of the chapters just felt like I had missed something in the context of the story.

This book was an easy read and could most definitely have been 4 stars but it unfortunately fell flat. The characters are all hard to like and there wasn't a ton of character development. The premise of the book has some unique traits with the Vampire Hierarchy, but still falls into your typical vampire vs hunter trope. Lastly the biggest flaw in this book is that it feels very rushed especially the ending, leaving you with no real connection to the characters or story.

It's not a bad book by any means, its a good quick palate cleanser.

Let me begin saying this was an easy read. There were some surprises along the story but it feels like the buildup to the peak drags on, and at times, too slowly.
It's not a bad novel, so if you like a different vampire story that'll take you very little time to read, this is the book for you!

This one was a slog. I'll start off by saying that I really did enjoy the premise and liked the world building of The Circle group. I enjoyed how the vampire/hunter worlds operated in conjunction with the "human" world. But that is where the enjoyment ended because Sebastian and Emily (and basically every other character) were awful! No one in this story knows how to be nice to one another even when they are friends. With friends like those who needs enemies (literally!). There was just not one person I could root for the entire time because they were all basically walking disasters.
So overall I made it through it... but I honestly cannot recommend it, unless you like people being mean to one another just cause. If that's the case then this book is for you.
