This is a difficult one to rate really since it's entire purpose is to discredit a holy book of Thelema, namely, Aleister Crowley's 'book of the Law'. I'd already come across the theory that it wasn't actually dictated to Aleister by a spirit named Aiwaas, but this is the first time I've been faced with actual evidence.

Anyway, it's not entirely convincing but it does open you up to a little sceptism that may not have been there previously. If you're a devotee of Aleister Crowley's then I doubt you have too much to worry about really, but it was kind of interesting in a way, if only to wonder why someone would put so much time and effort into attempting to debunk a book like this in the first place.

verdict: I don't really care about whether or not it was really dictated by a spirit being or not. I only really care about whether it's content is something that interests me in the first place. I think this is probably a good places to start from with this kind of thing.… (mehr)
