Part of the Association of Cricket Statistician and Historians’ Famous Cricketers Series, “Graeme Pollock” records each of the titular master batsman’s first-class batting and bowling figures and a season-by-season culminated averages, as well as records and innings of note. Sadly, we are not provided with the equivalent List A details but there’s plenty of info for Test and first-class scores including his first-class batting average of 119.00 for the South African Games XI and his all but Bradman beating career Test batting average of 60.97. It all underlines just how much international cricket lost through the apartheid years.

Beyond the ½ star lost for the lack of List A details, this is a useful tool for the cricket fan interested in just how much Pollock dominated bowling attacks around the world.… (mehr)
