Something Wicked (University of Morgana: Academy of… von Emma Dean
At first I wasn't sure about this; thought it was a bit of a Harry Potter rip off, but I quickly became enthralled and am looking forward to reading more of this series. Only 4 stars because the story is confusing in places.
A bit of drama but an easy new adult fantasy read.
Still jumping up and down with glee!!!
I loved book one, but oh my WORD this book surpassed that by leaps and bounds. Definitely read book one first or risk being lost. So many reveals in this book and a drop your jaw cliffhanger suck you deeper into this world!!!! So much intrigue, secrets revealed, action, a bit of fun along the way. I dare you not to get hooked on this exciting read!

It's getting exciting!!
Oh how I LOVE this series!!! In this book Mika uncovers more about her Morrigan heritage, and about those behind the scenes who are after her. She still has much to learn on both fronts, but at least she's a step closer to understanding. But by bit it appears she's unlocking her powers. Not to mention her group is put to the test, and might be growing? From a few interesting tidbits dropped by one of her enemies, it appears people close to her were in on the conspiracy against her. Here's hoping the remainder of her family don't follow suit. I am truly living how Mika is becoming as strong magically as her inner strength. I for one am gleefully looking forward to seeing her in her full glory when she finally learns how to FULLY unlock all her powers. Until that time I cheer her on from the sidelines… (mehr)
