Not my favorite. The plot is a bit trite and I don't like the parents. They are too invested in the wedding and not the marriage. She is best to run.½

A Christmas movie entitled A Christmas Puppy that runs for an hour and a half & has no puppy. There's a cute, little puppy dressed in a Santa hat & a little green scarf on the DVD cover, but he's nowhere to be found in this movie. What an example of blatantly false advertising!

The family does have a sweet little dog called Chompie who gets ignored for almost the entire movie, but not the overdose of puppy one would expect from the misleading title and DVD cover.

There is an irritating Christmas spirit called Hope who runs around in a dress that looks like it's made from toilet paper, but that's about it. Even for a bad, run-of-the-mill, cheesy, low-budget Christmas movie, this one is bad and not worth watching.

This movie was also released under the title Christmas Spirit, which makes more sense; unfortunately, a better title doesn't make it a better movie.
