This book is truly a joy to read. The story is about a mouse who loves cheese and thanks to helping a golden beetle is able to have is wish of every thing he touches turning to cheese. The wish however turns out to be bad because the things he needs and loves also turns to Cheese.

This book has brought me more enjoyment than almost any book I've ever read, because this is the first book I read to my 2y/o foster child. To watch him as I go through the story makes me smile and giggle as if I were Two years old again. Terrific story with great Illustrations.

This would be a great lesson for children in what happens when someones needs are more important than the needs of others and the impact that can have on those people around you.… (mehr)
