This has been sitting on my ereader for a while, so there may be a more up-to-date edition around now. I enjoyed the story and found the WW2 setting believable and authentic. There were quite a few editing issues with the book, which might by now have been corrected, but they didn't detract too much from an engaging and intriguing tale.

I loved the extensive knowledge shown here of the fashion industry from designer's idea to a completed garment on the body of a model walking down the runway. An excellent combination of fashion and mystery. One of my favorite mystery books I've read thus far.

Before CD Reiss became famous for her erotic romances, she was writing wonderful murder mysteries, and if you are a fan of this genre you shouldn't let this book pass you by. It's funny, it has well developped characters, it's suffused with author's love for New York and it's very interesting for its involvement in the world of haute couture. Very much recommended.

I am a man's man with a confession. I actually watch, and enjoy, Project Runway. As a result, I am familiar with just about all the fashionista references in the story.

The story was fairly well developed and the characters were interesting to a point. I enjoyed the story and would have rated it 4 stars if it were not for the very lame ending. The ending did not do justice to the rest of the tale. Read this if you like fashion. There are some good oner liners and witty dialogue to ponder.
