This is a serious attempt to discuss very complicated Pacific Battle, more emphasis on reconnaissance than usual, but this is very Important in Carrier warfare. while not so crushing a victory as Midway, this attempt by the Japanese to reverse the outcome of that battle is a more appropriate incident to explore the doctrines and practice of the major actors in the Pacific war.
