Meanwhile, he earned a PhD in business management from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has succeeded impressively as a businessman in the United States. Set in post WWII Israel during the British occupation, historically covers the actions against the British along with other Jewish groups to convince the British to leave Israel. Entertaining and a great read. The dialogue could be better, but the story leaves nothing to be desired.
‘Yes, It’s Possible’ Ehud Diskin’s autobiography traces his first hand experiences growing up in
the state of Israel, serving as a tank battalion leader in the IDF during the War of Attrition and
Yom Kippur war. His courage and devotion to Israel is apparent as he gives the reader an
inside look at the wars and how he saw the people and their leaders. His philosophy of life
revealed a man who lived his life with chutzpa and risk taking without concern of what others
might think of him. His attitude was he could do anything he could get away with without
punishment. His ‘Mission Impossible” with the crossing of the Suez Canal that led to victory
was told with great insight of the people who were involved. Less interesting to me was his
business dealings and the many family pictures.

I was not able to really get into this book. I read the first several chapters, and while there were pieces I enjoyed ultimately the book did not captivate my attention.
