Goes through the life and struggles of a pair of puffins of the coast of Newfoundland. Factual and informative if not a bit dry. The illustrations are bright and colorful but very realistic, not at all cuddly. A straightforward way to learn about puffins. I think this book is boring but my 4 yr old likes it a lot, he picked this for my choice for this review, even among his many car/boat/train informational books.
