In this historical work about the conspiracy around the assassination of John F. Kennedy in 1963 there is great potential for dramatic and thrilling dialogue but the author rushes through the story and in my opinion, has created a somewhat disappointing result. Also - there are far too many spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors that should have been corrected before this work was published in June. Both those errors and the storyline that did not always flow as it should, made for a harder read.
I received this book from LibraryThing for an honest review and I can only award it 2 stars.

There is a lot of potential in this story. An otherwise unknown second video recording of the assassination of John F. Kennedy is discovered that proves there was a conspiracy to kill Kennedy. Again, a lot of potential, but the author rushes through this story and doesn't give the twists and turns the time they deserve. I will echo other reviewers that there were far too many grammatical errors for this to be a published work (wrong use of their, there, they're, etc.). There were also some historical anachronisms throughout the book that were distracting as well.… (mehr)

I think Steven Donahue’s book is interesting in that authorities did in fact confiscate cameras of people who filmed or took pictures of the President’s assassination from different locations than the Zapruder film. Add that to Barbara Shearer’s documentary ‘JFK: What the Doctors Saw’ (streaming on Paramount+) in which she had interviewed the doctors who were in the president’s Parkland Memorial Hospital emergency room who said that they saw the entrance wound on Kennedy’s throat indicating a bullet entering from the front which contradicts the Warren Commission finding that all the shots came from behind, The Morgan Film while a work of fiction seems closer to the truth than what Americans have been told happened for the last 60 years.… (mehr)
