This book is fantastic! As a child, the narrator, masquerading as the child reading the story, explains in child-like terms how to process loosing a loved one. There are guided reading points for parents or professionals on every few pages that allow those adults check in with the child as they read. The book explains how some people leave or move away, and how some people leave and pass away. It explains how to complete deep breathing and anticipate the changing emotions in a grieving child. As a child, I myself lost someone very close to me, and this book would have been a huge help to me.… (mehr)
