A wonderful new series. Exciting storyline and great characters. I loved this book!

This series started out slow, but it wasn't so slow I put it down. And then about 1/3 of the way through book one, I was trapped. I finished quickly and went on to book two, which I am so glad I bought at the same time as book one. I then went online to pre-order book three. And will wait as patiently as I can for the rest of the series.

The characters are well developed, and I very much want to know what happens to them, and the story keeps me guessing.

I am one of the lucky ones who got an advanced reader copy of this book. This is a very good book about strong family ties and good moral values, set in a rich fantasy world full of action. The book is an excellent read for fantasy readers and those who don't typically read this genre. I loved it and can't wait for the next one!
