The characters of Bumpkinton are a quirky lot and this delightful novella showcases them well. I just hope Albert eventually finds out that he didn't let anyone down.
When I read the blurb about Bittersweet I knew that this book was right up my alley. In just a few lines the charicters pulled me in and I was crying and laughing along with them. I'd love to get to know the residents of Bumpkinton better in a longer format.
I really enjoyed Drzymala's almost spartan writing style. There wasn't a word wasted and it was all very witty.
