The demonstrations begin with dyeing and overdyeing and include all the processes used to generate a layered surface - discharging with discharge paste and also chlorine products, extensive information on textile paints, and also foiling.

In addition to the wet processes Jane also discusses and demonstrates stamp carving, making a stencil from interfacing, and two silkscreen surfaces that are easy to make without any special light set-up.
