I bought this book a few days after I had to put my beloved cat Mickey to sleep after we found out his cancer was terminal. This was the first pet I've ever had to do this for, and I was (still am!) so totally heartbroken and inconsolable. I'm so glad I took a chance and downloaded this book. It was so well written and made me feel so less alone. What's more, I am not a religious person, yet I felt that nearly everything the author shared could apply to me - and to anyone of any faith.
