Dark, steamy, and a cliffhanger that might just make you scream. I don’t think they cover what happens when your enemy not only kidnaps you, but turns out to be your fated mate - but Naya certainly got a crash course in it when Akoro steals her back to his kingdom. Speaking of Akoro...dark doesn’t begin to cover it. This isn’t a bad boy, this is a man who has a darkness in him so deep, that Naya is nothing more than a possession, and a means to an end. Naya may be struggling with a lot, but she’s strong and determined to do whatever she can for the people she’s been stolen from. I got so wrapped up in these two, that I quickly lost track of time. (Seriously, read it in one sitting, just could not set it down). If you like (really) dark, spicy romantasies, this needs to be your next read.… (mehr)

Quickie Review (May contain spoilers)

I really had high hopes for this one but unfortunately, it didn't work for me. This is not really a romance. Its erotica. Its not even erotic romance. Its basically fantasy smut. If that works for you, that is great. It just wasn't for me because I need a plot and story not something that is just about the sex. I was really going into this book expecting a epic fantasy and coming out with being disappointed by this one. Now if you are just looking for just plain smut and nothing deeper than that, then it will work for you.… (mehr)

Along a similar vein to authors other books but this one is based around the royal family so it's slightly different.
The author says it is a good place to stop at the end and that the second book is longer.
She admits this is a shorter book but I have to say it felt very short.
Other author wouldn't have had it as a duet but a single novel, though obviously as yet I am unsure of the length of part 2. £3.49 for such a short book is pretty steep.

No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
Usual alpha and omega battle that this author usually writes.
