Ryan is a "straight" guy who all of a sudden realizes he has feelings for his best friend Boone. Ryan seems to have trouble acknowledging the feelings he has and tends to run when things get rough. He needs things a certain way and doesn't like when things affect his work. Ryan and Boone have been friends for a long time and seem to know each other really well, but when everything went south, neither of them were able to work with the other.

The story was well written; I just found myself annoyed with the characters and the choices they made. I felt bad for Boone and found that I disliked Ryan a bunch of the time. I was glad to see them work through their problems, though, and eventually get to where I could believe an HEA was in store for them.

I would definitely read something else by this author in the future.… (mehr)
