Learn to spin with Anne Field : spinning basics von Anne Field
This is a perfectly fine book, with a little information about a wide variety of topics, but not outstanding in any way. It's primarily wheel-focused and might be useful in helping a new spinner figure out how to choose a wheel.
This is probably a good book if you intend to learn to spin on a wheel, and have no other book to guide you. I use a spindle, and for most things in the book I have other, better references. My low rating has more to do with 'not really useful for me' than with any realy problems in the book.
Excellent book on this interesting method of changing and decorating fibre using acid to remove some of the yarn.
