Leah and her three year old daughter Emma leave a domestic violence situation involving Leah's soon to be ex-husband Trevor and relocate to Boston. Leah pays in cash for everything so it doesn't leave a trail so Trevor can find her. Once she gets a job at a pub, she meets Kieran Murphy and sparks instantly fly between them.

Kieran starts doing little things for her like buying groceries and walking her home afterward. I do have to agree with a review by another reviewer pointing out the fact that Leah leaves three year old Emma at her apartment alone with just a camera watching her while she's working at the pub. No one ever seems to question it or eventually get a babysitter once Kieran finds out why she has to leave work early one night which was just odd. I also wanted to point out that when Emma would speak to Leah and ask for things or to other adults, it seemed like she was well-versed more than a three year old would be (in reality, some 3 year olds would still be trying to learn how to say words and formulate responses.) By the way she was responding, it made her seem like an older child around 5-6 instead of 3.

Leah is hesitant at first to trust Kieran because of her past relationship, but then she discovers that he is well-liked by everyone and feared by anyone who would cause trouble. When their relationship turns into Daddy/little girl, the steam is instantly there and all of the punishment scenes are definitely 10/10 for being extra spicy.

Leah's ex Trevor makes an appearance to try and get her back (hurt her) but it was never revealed of how Trevor found her. Leah had previously paid in cash for everything and was paid in cash by her employers. (I wish that had been mentioned on how he did)

All in all, Leah does get the HEA that she deserves after being with someone who didn't care for her or her child at all. I hope we see more of this series with all of the brothers that were mentioned throughout.

Present Day: Shane shows up to the family bar and intends to make a move on Ada, but being who she is, she won't let him win that easily. Shane knows that Ada is a fierce, independent woman who can handle herself in almost any situation.

Their chemistry is explosive together and is written so well that you have no trouble following along. Ada is Shane's Queen and equal as well as her fantastic lover. Their banter also doesn't disappoint!.

I got this on audible thinking it would be a bully romance as that is the category it was in.

It's not.


It's just dom/sub


Very little story and mostly just overly long sex scenes that got boring listening to the same repetitive talk. The begining basically starts as the dom saves her from being date raped by her boyfriend, then later essentially rapes her himself as punishment.
But she began to enjoy it and she was dirty and wanted her holes filled by him blah blah blah.

There is about two chapters in total of any sort of plot and it's weak.


Love confessions were thrown in fairy early making it lose any bully vibe it was trying for.

It's just a dom/sub smut book. I'm disappointed that it was wrongly catogorised. I should have bought Fear You instead.

3.5 stars. High school bully, mafia, enemies to lovers. Blair was a bully that liked to make people's live's miserable. I would have liked to have a little more story around how she went from homeless to a super-rich mean girl. There was explanation but I think that detailed story would be great. I really liked Col and felt terrible for him and the things he went through. His willingness to take care of Blair after everything proved that he was a really good person.
The sex scenes included a lot of spankings and pain which is not really my thing. For those that are in to that, I think the scenes would be considered extremely hot.
Narration by Bridget Bordeaux and Gavin McAllister was fantastic. They are both new to me and I'd like to hear them in other books.… (mehr)
