Great book for understanding the spiritual dimensions and the mechanic aspects of the Ignatius Spiritual Exercises as well as the reasons behind the components that make up the whole of the exercises.
The Author David Fleming, S. J. is an outstanding authority on Ignatian Spirituality. This book on the Ignatian exercises is very good and informative and is understandable. This book by Fr. David Flemming is a literal translation of St. Ignatius' rules. Fr. Flemming holds a doctoral degree in spiritual theology from Catholic University. He is internationally know for his retreats, conferences and his knowledge of the religious life.
