Set in same mythical world as original Armies album, "Arn's Revenge" is a story of a boy growing in exile in slavery and then escaping to avenge his father.
Art is great. Details and page organization, pictures of horsemen, golden cities and vast armies...... just gorgeous.
Recommended if you like mythical, heroic fantasy, Conan-like stories.

Very interesting graphic novel. Story seems to be an amalgam of many philosophies - from Far East to ancient Europe - and art of course is great, although maybe slightly static in places.
What I do not like is all that accent to sexual abuse, rape and sadomasochism of the main character - same thing happened with Metabarons when first mercenary Metabaron decides to connect to and fly his space-craft using an appendage he got after loosing his genitals in combat. I mean, OK, it is there to shock but is this truly necessary?
Interesting story, but keep in mind that this is unfinished story-arc - artist died before finishing the second album.
