Nice little book about healthy living. A sweet tone aided by the lovely little illustrations. Conveys a humility, honesty and warmth that comes from active recovery from drug and alcohol use.
These are funny comics about really unhealthy life choices. Amusingly, I read this AFTER her book about recovery (called, "Recovery") and so it gives some perspective to the 'humorous' stories of passing out on Ativan etc. I like Gill's drawing style and she creates compelling little story arcs.
This was a very sweet story about a love at first sight. It reminded me exactly of what it felt like to fall in love at 16, all the way down to the swings.
