Wow this book took me about a year to read and it's not even because I wasn't trying. The writing style wasn't my jam, the typos were annoying, and the whole book was just too damn long. Like I love mythology and can read long versions of it but this just wasn't it.

Too short

Way too short to be developed properly, and we don't even get to see the characters together other than one really jacked up encounter. While it's possible that the books continue in 85% shorts, I'm not impressed with the writing enough to read the next part. Also, present tense is a great way throw this reader out of the story, so, well done there.

Interesting concept with an execution that just didn’t work for me. Nothing happens in this book except for people having the same conversations over and over again. This would have been less of a problem if I cared about the relationship but I didn’t care about that either. Sam annoyed me more than anything. The writing also wasn’t great in a way that I found confusing at times. Numerous typos and weirdly phrased sentences that made it even harder to get into the story.

Listening to crazy books is a good stress relief!
