Rodney Grapes

Rodney Grapes obtained a PhD in Geology from Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand, in 1971. Between 1972-1977, he was in Japan where he received a DSc from Hokkaido University. Rodney Grapes returned to Victoria University in 1977 where he worked at the School of Earth Sciences until mehr anzeigen moving to Albert-Ludwigs University, Freiburg, Germany, in 2001. He was Professor of Geology at Sun Yat-sen University, Canton (Guangzhou), China, from 2006-2008, and is currently Professor of Petrology at Korea University, Seoul, Korea. He undertook research at the Ruhr University (Germany) in 1982-1983 as a Humboldt Fellow, and was Visiting Professor at Hokkaido and Ehime Universities (Japan) in 1987. His main research interests are mineralogy, petrology, geochemistry, and field relations of metamorphic and igneous rocks. weniger anzeigen
