I'm going middle of the road for this with 3 stars as I would 5 star some but tbh some I would 2 star.

I do not want to name names so will leave this as a general review. I have read every story in this anthology and I loved the concept, but some stories seemed edited, polished and finished and some didn't. They felt rushed, unedited and incomplete.

The concept and idea of Taking a Chance on love, drew me in and given the opportunity to arc read and overall I did enjoy the book.

These 17 authors all came together to raise funds for AIDS healthcare, so grab this as you might find a gem or a new author to read.

This is one of the sweetest love stories I have read recently - not a full novel but a novelette/short story. Even though it centers around attempted murder and includes a spouse beaten to death, the abuser killed and a few attempts at murder, it is without a doubt the lowest angst story ever. A quick, cozy read for a rainy afternoon - like snacking on spice cookies.

This anthology was amazing. If I didn’t know that the authors had written outside their normal genres from the blurb, I never would’ve guessed. Each story is unique with captivating characters and rich worlds. The plots were engaging and well paced. I loved that each story had a little intro, which gave you an idea of what to expect in the following pages, making it easy to pick and choose what to read. There’s a little something for everyone in this, so don’t let the chance to grab this anthology pass you by!

Cute, fluffy, with just a dash of danger. To be fair, the author warns us outright - it’s a happy story.

My problems here are
- insane amount of characters, animals included (from guard chickens to pet sharks).

Was good for maybe first quarter of the book, but got old real fast.
- lame jokes. None-stop. I mean, really? Really?

3 stars total, plus half a star for that cover (One drool bucket here, please!) and rounding up for Tack and Lola. Somehow they made an impression

Too sweet, too easy, too many characters, too weird at times (like making out in front of a six year old). The whole thing is too much and not always in a good way.
I wondered a few times if I should add “Jory-verse” to my bookshelves.

So sweet

Harper and Gray are so sweet and cute together. I really love how quickly Harper's family takes to Gray, with no questions asked.

Karma

I love Yeo and Caden, and they definitely it good karma for them. I love that they had a hand in good karma for a lot of other people too.

Lovely

Great friends to lovers story as well as a story about getting past your history, trauma, and hurt. Juan and Jackson are really wonderful togethrt.

Great story

Wyatt and Leti are totally going to be best friends. Wyatt is so sweet and honorable and he just had such a huge heart.

Lovely sweet story, with instalove and a fantastic story. Definitely a short sweet read for a tough day or anytimr, really.

Yay for Dean

Dean totally deserves all the good things ever. He's had to deal with so much. Ray is such a wonderful man, just so sweet and caring, and practically perfect in every way.

These stories are all so sweet. I love that Mateo followed Abel to Maine. They are just so cute and all their pets are great.

I love that David gets his HEA, he's deserved it for so long. He's so caring and has such a good heart. Thank goodness for nosy Wilsons.

Gotta love those Wilsons

Man, those Wilsons are going to do everything they can to support the people that they love. It was nice to get a glimpse into everyone's lives.

Sweet

Some angst and drama, but still fairly low, and it's outside people doing it. Zed and Noah are terribly sweet and loving.

Leti is just super sweet and funny. I love how Hack changed so quickly. All the animals are so cute and funny.

Wow

I think Leti is a true joy and delight. He has such a huge heart and he wants to make sure everyone is safe and happy. Will is an amazing man who just takes everything in stride.

Great series

I really love this series. I Love how everyone is a family, and they pull in new folks so there is even more family. There is so much love, even in adversity.

Can't get enough.

I just can't get enough of this series. All the characters have me hooked so hard. The love between the mates and the love of the large family is just joyous.

Wonderful finale

This is a wonderful finale to the series. Finn is just so bouncy, and I think Crow is the perfect match for him.

Yay for Draif

Draif is such a wonderful character and I'm so happy that he got his happy ending. He so totally deserved it.
