Brenna's family is cursed or so the village believes - so much so that they have killed her father and destroyed the Lighthouse where the family once lived because they blamed him for making the sea angry. Now Brenna is an outcast, living in a ruined part of the village that a king tide destroyed. One night she is attacked by Fiadh, a girl possessed by a wolves' pelt, who has bitten her and the villagers believe that this wolf girl is part of the old curse and tell Brenna she must destroy it. Meanwhile Fiadh escapes to the ruined Lighthouse to hide. She hears songs and witnesses the Selkie ( seal) spirits in human form on the sand and befriends a boy called Tuathal. Tuathal is on a quest to find his mother who her believes is somewhere on land. The three lives become entertwined.… (mehr)
