So as a beginner knitter, crocheter, and embroiderer, I look at how well I can learn from a book. This one did have very clear illustrations for all three things (with very helpful illustrations), which I think would make picking up a tool and crafting pretty easy. Things get more complicated in the instructions for making projects (sweaters, blankets, etc.), which are pretty typical instructions, but which I can't visualize. On the plus side, despite being from the sixties, the projects are classic and still something you might want to make.… (mehr)
